Who makes QRForge Studio

QRForge Studio is independently developed under the Hanton Studio name. This notice covers the Android app and this product website. For privacy questions, contact hanton.studio@gmail.com.

QR content and camera access

QR creation, camera scanning, image decoding, batch generation and inspection run locally. The app does not send your QR payloads, selected images, CSV files or camera frames to a QRForge server. It has no advertising, tracking or analytics SDK, cloud-sync service or app account system.

Camera permission is requested when you choose live scanning. Selected images and documents are accessed through Android's picker. You can manage camera permission in Android settings.

Local library and Android backups

The app stores recent QR activity locally so you can copy and reuse it. Payloads may include sensitive information, such as Wi-Fi passwords or contact details. Keep that in mind before saving or sharing a code.

The current Android app permits system backup. Depending on your device and backup settings, Android may include app data in a cloud backup or device transfer. This is separate from QRForge; the developer does not operate or receive that backup. See Android's backup documentation.

Use Clear library in the app to remove local history. Clearing the app's storage in Android settings also removes its local data. Neither action removes copies you exported, shared or retained through another service; manage those copies and backups separately.

Exports, links and Google Play

Exports are created locally. Choosing a share target passes the selected file to that app or service, whose privacy practices then apply. Opening a decoded URL hands it to another app, usually your browser; that destination may collect information independently.

Google Play handles installation, purchases and its review interface. QRForge does not ask for or store your payment-card details. Google's services are covered by Google's privacy policy.

This website and support email

This website is hosted by Cloudflare. Your browser sends connection and request information to Cloudflare to load and protect the site. The website does not embed advertising or analytics scripts. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

If you email support, the developer receives your email address and whatever you include, for handling your request. Do not send passwords, verification codes, payment-card details or sensitive QR payloads. You can contact the same address with questions or a request to delete support correspondence.

Changes

This page will be updated when the app or its data handling changes. The date above identifies this version. For help with the app, visit Support.
